Dr. Dhrubajyoti Kalita is an experienced Medical Anesthesiologist with extensive expertise in providing safe and comprehensive anesthetic care across a wide range of surgical specialties. He is trained to manage high-risk and emergency situations and has significant experience in perioperative care, critical care and pain management.

He has expertise in anesthetic management for General Surgery, Surgical Oncology, Urology, Pediatric Surgery, Orthopedics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Neurosurgery, ENT, Ophthalmology, Maxillofacial, Burns and Plastic Surgery. His clinical skills include neuraxial and regional nerve blocks, labour analgesia, difficult airway management, cardiopulmonary resuscitation and critical care management of postoperative and polytrauma patients, including sepsis and ARDS.

Dr. Kalita has also developed significant experience in pediatric and neonatal anesthesia, including cleft lip and palate repair under the Smile Train Programme and pediatric cochlear implant surgeries. He has held senior positions at Safdarjung Hospital, Saket City Hospital, Max Smart Super Specialty Hospital, Fortis C-Doc, Apollo and Rosewalk Healthcare, and has been associated with National Heart Institute since March 2022. He also has teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
