Dr. Suruchi Ladha is a Senior Consultant and Head of the Department of Cardiac Anaesthesia at National Heart Institute, New Delhi, with over a decade of expertise in adult and paediatric cardiac anaesthesia, perioperative critical care, and advanced echocardiography. She completed her MBBS and MD in Anaesthesiology from Guwahati Medical College & Hospital and earned her DM in Cardiac Anaesthesia from AIIMS, New Delhi, along with Fellowships in Basic & Advanced Echocardiography and Cardiac Critical Care.

Her clinical expertise includes complex adult and paediatric cardiac surgeries, congenital heart disease, robotic cardiac surgery, major aortic and vascular procedures, heart transplantation, ECMO management, perioperative transoesophageal echocardiography (TEE), and cardiac catheterization laboratory anaesthesia.

An accomplished academician and researcher, Dr. Ladha has authored 22 scientific publications, contributed five book chapters, and received the Janak Mehta Best Paper Award (IACTA) and the Distinguished Services Award (TSS). She also serves as the Member Secretary of the Scientific Advisory Research & Ethics Committee (SAREC) of the All-India Heart Foundation.
