Dr. Dinesh Kumar Kaushal is the Senior Consultant and Head of the Department of Nuclear Medicine at National Heart Institute, New Delhi. With over 20 years of experience in nuclear medicine, he has extensive expertise in diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine, multimodality imaging, and molecular imaging.

His areas of specialization include PET-CT, PET-MRI, SPECT-CT, thyroid disorders, and radionuclide therapies. He is committed to delivering precise, evidence-based diagnostic services that support early disease detection, accurate staging, treatment planning, and patient-centered care.

Before joining National Heart Institute, he served for more than a decade at Dayanand Medical College & Hospital and Hero DMC Heart Institute, where he played a key role in advancing nuclear medicine and medical imaging services.
