Having served the Army for 31 glorious years, he joined this Hospital in Mar 2013. During his carrier in Armed forces, he headed the Dept of Cardiology of prestigious Army Hospital R & R Delhi and worked as Brig Incharge Administration at Command Hospital Lucknow. For his meritorious services, he was awarded commendation card twice by Chief of Army Staff and “Vishisht Seva Medal” by President of India.
He passed his MBBS in 1978, MD (Gen Med) in 1981 from JLN Medical College Ajmer and DM (Cardiology) in 1993 from AFMC Pune. He is a recognised PG teacher of Pune, Lucknow & Delhi University and also an examiner for DNB Cardiology. He had also been MCI Inspector for Post graduate courses
He was an Executive member of CSI, National Convener of Hypertension. He had also been member of panel of specialists giving medical cover to her Excellency Pratibha Devi Singh Patil. For his outstanding work in field of Cardiology, he was awarded Lifetime Achievement Award & Distinguished Service Award from WCCPGC and fellowship from Cardiological Society of India. He has published many scientific papers in peer review journals.
